Hello, good day and welcome from me, Al Stringer.
Well after a lengthy and interesting journey along the way (damn and blast those website making people!), my Sleeve League ‘Traditional Irish Jumpers’ website is finally here and up and running. And this is the page where I get to kiss the blarney stone as my erstwhile Irish friends would say and hopefully where some of you out there in InternetLand do likewise and respond to my general banter and chanter.
Now as my Blog develops I will expand on the Og, which is an interesting relevance in itself, but I suppose I should really start by coming out of the clover and confessing to the fact that I am not, strictly speaking, Irish. Actually never have been and I suppose in the truest sense of nationality, never will be. However that’s not to say that Irishness doesn’t pour through my heart, soul and veins (and I don’t just mean the Guinness). Initially absorbed from a lifetime of travels throughout this beautiful land and amongst its amazing people, to eventually consumed by my moving to live in Killybeg on the North West coast of Ireland. And in brief for the moment, that is where I met my good friend Donal and that is where my Sleeve League dream first took apparition, but more of all that later.
Time for a quick Guinness then, and time for you to take a look round the website, buy a jumper or send me a comment on ‘Og’....... buy a jumper or click on my picture alongside to send me your blog comment.

Look it’s me sunning myself on a Donegal beach. Click on the picture to send me your comments for Og the Blog.
